Purpose and scope of use
This site offers a TAK Server (Team Awareness Kit) SaaS platform exclusively for civilian users for the following legitimate uses:
- Sport and recreational simulation (airsoft, milsim).
- Outdoor activities: mountaineering, hiking, expeditions.
- Volunteer rescue, civil protection and SAR teams.
- Technical coordination and training.
- Sports events and group management.
The service is not offered for real military use, combat operations, paramilitary use, or as a substitute for official emergency services. References on the site to "tactical" refer to civilian operational coordination (ATAK product terminology), not military or offensive uses.
Intellectual property
Site contents (text, images, code, marks) are owned by the operator or its licensors. ATAK and TAK Server are open-source products of the U.S. Department of Defense. The SaaS platform, infrastructure and proprietary code are owned by the operator.
