This policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website atak-server.com.
The TAK Server service itself does not use cookies. Communication between ATAK/iTAK clients and the server uses the open CoT (Cursor on Target) protocol over mutual TLS (mTLS) with X.509 certificates, not HTTP/cookies. This policy applies only to the public sales and support website.
Strictly necessary cookies (technical)
Essential for site operation. Loaded without prior consent under art. 22.2 LSSI-CE (exempt cookies):
- Checkout session — managed by Stripe during payment.
- Language preference — if changed manually.
Security and infrastructure cookies (Cloudflare)
The site is served via Cloudflare as CDN, DDoS mitigation and WAF. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for:
- Identifying the secure session (TLS).
- Detecting abusive or automated traffic (anti-bot, DDoS).
- Load balancing and routing to infrastructure.

Stripe cookies
During payment, Stripe installs cookies for fraud prevention (necessary to complete the purchase). Policy: stripe.com/cookies-policy.
Analytics cookies (subject to consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., ID G-MKR9H8EGSG) to understand how the site is used and improve the service. These cookies only load if you accept the consent banner on first visit. If you reject, no Google cookie is installed.

None used. No Plausible, Matomo, Hotjar, Facebook Pixel or equivalents. No marketing scripts, third-party embeds (YouTube, external fonts, etc.) or ad cookies.
